URFA - Suruç Co- Mayor Hatice Çevik was arrested with the accusation of 'being a member of an illegal organization' and 'propagandizing an illegal organization'.

Hatice Çevik, Urfa's Co-Mayor from HDP was taken into custody and a trustee was appointed to replace her.

Urfa 2nd Penal Court of Peace decided her arrest with the charges of 'being a member of an illegal organization' and 'propagandizing an illegal organization'.

Çevik was sent to Urfa Type T Closed Prison.
