Confederation of Public Laborer's Unions Şırnak Branches PLatform have made a written statement regarding the hunger strikes demanding the termination of the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan. In the statement with the lead 'We are defending life against death', the fact that the country is in a political crisis and that the social components of the population are being oppressed and silenced was emphasized.

 

In the statement where the hunger strike of Leyla Güven and the political prisoners are in a critical condiiton was emphasized, 'There are news of deaths coming from the prisons. It is obvious that this situation will open wounds that cannot be repaired in social peace, democracy and human rights. For social peace, we invite everyone to moral and conscientious responsibility. We invite the political power to solve the problem within universal law values before it is too late. " was said.
