Leyla Güven was taken from prison by ambulance:She will go on with the hunger strike
DİYARBAKIR- DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven who has been on a hunger strike for 79 days with the demand of termination of the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, whose release was decided in the court today was taken from the Diyarbakır Type E Prison by ambulance. Güven will continue the hunger strike.
Güven who was released in a hearing no one attended was taken home by an ambulance the prison administration assigned. Güven was brought to her home in Bağlar, Diyarbakır.
HDP Co-Chairperson Pervin Buldan said the court's decision to release Güven was positive, and that they are taking Güven with them to her home where she will continue her hunger strike.
