Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (YNK) Chair Bafil Talabani met with German Foreign Ministir Tobias Lindner in Germany, where he travelled to attend the Munich Security Conference. 

 

In his meeting with Tobias Lindner, Bafil Talabani stated that it is very important that all components and nations, especially the Kurds, defend their rights and take part in the construction of the new Syria. Stating that this will serve to stabilise the situation, Talabani said, "All initiatives other that this aim will further complicat the situation. It is the duty of all parties to defend the region and support the success of the national solution efforts."
